Serving Blue Lodges in and around |
About the DCMA
The DeKalb County Masonic Association:
The DCMA is an organization dedicated to promoting fellowship among Blue Lodge Masons and their families in and around DeKalb County, Georgia, which includes part of the City of Atlanta.
As our meetings are not Tyled, families and friends are encouraged to join us for dinner and fellowship. Masons are invited to stay for the 'regular' Lodge meeting after the DCMA meeting is over.
Monthly and Annual Attendance Awards are given to the Lodges and Eastern Star Chapters with the greatest attendance, including non-member guests. Each meeting follows a full meal prepared by the host Lodge.
Membership:Membership is open to any Lodge working under the jurisdiction of The Grand Lodge of Georgia or any individual members of such Lodges. DeKalb County represents a sub-set of Georgia's 5th Masonic District.

Charities:
The DCMA collects at every meeting, and annually disburses those funds split evenly among the Grand Lodge of Georgia's Masonic Home for Children, the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, and the Scottish Rite Foundation. In February, 2009, we will donate $400.00 to each of our three charities,
Every October, the DCMA hosts a field trip for the resident children of the Children's Home. In past years, this has included trips to the Yellow River Game Ranch, Stone Mountain Park, and other area attractions.
